We are proud to introduce Helen as a new member of The Actors File.

Helen is a versatile and creative actress with a flair for comedy and ensemble performance. She trained in Devised Theatre at Dartington College of Arts and co-runs Brute Farce Theatre Company alongside her freelance acting work. Recent work with Brute Farce includes playing the lead in their new adaptation of MOLL FLANDERS which she also co-wrote and produced. This show has been on national tour since March 2008 and has enjoyed high critical acclaim.

Other theatre credits include Helena in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (“as good as it gets…brilliantly played”), Celia in AS YOU LIKE IT (delightful), Salome in SALOME (“consistently superb”) Lady Macduff in MACBETH, Hero in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Mrs Elvstead in HEDDA GABLER, Ismene in ANTIGONE and Chorus in TROJAN WOMEN. Helen has also worked closely alongside Kneehigh Theatre regulars in the highly acclaimed new comedy LAUGHING GAS written by Carl Grose and Nick Darke.

TV and Film credits include work for the BBC and various independent films including ALWAYS CRASHING IN THE SAME CAR with Richard E Grant and Paul McGann.

Helen originally hails from Bedfordshire and now lives in Battersea. Helen is highly skilled in improvisation. She is also great singer and plays piano to a high standard.
