Amy was born and bred in Yorkshire, and read French at Kings College London before training at Arts Ed School of Acting.

Amy is an experienced stage actress, having worked at many regional and international theatres including: Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, Theatre By The Lake Keswick, York Theatre Royal, The New Vic Stoke, The MAC Birminham, Watford Palace Theatre, Teatre 503 London, Gothenberg's English Speaking Theatre Sweden, The Gateway Theatre Edinburgh, The Underbelly Edinburgh, Southside Edinburgh and C Venues Edinburgh.

Amy's voice work includes two dramas for radio 4: 'Writing the Century' (5 episodes / lead role) and 'Two On The Tower' (a 2 part Sunday evening classic serial). She played the role of Ariane Cally in a Blake's 7 audio drama 'Cally: Blood & Earth', which is out now to buy or download, and she has also recorded a 20-minute independent radio drama AN EYE FOR AN EYE. She has also voiced-over several characters for Richard Harris’ independent film SOMETHING I PREPARED EARLIER.

Amy’s screen work includes Kenneth Branagh’s 2007 feature film THE MAGIC FLUTE, children’s drama MORRIS 2274 (Channel 5), various short films and music videos, 3 idents for SNACK-A-JACKS (No Angels on C4 ) and 2 idents for SPOOKS on the BBC (promos).
