The Actors File Co-operative Personal Management was created 25 years ago. As one of the first waves of co-operatives in Britain it was at the forefront of the changing face of representation. We do our utmost to stay there, remaining competitive and accessible. Started by 5 actors (3 of whom are still with us) we now represent around 20 actors covering a wide range of types and skills.

Many producers, directors and casting directors are keen to deal and work with Co-operatives. We are often more pro-active and committed performers and have a wide understanding of the way the industry works.

Over the years, The Actors File have supplied artists for The Royal Court, The Globe Theatre, Coronation Street, Eastenders, Bread, RNT, RSC, A Touch Of Frost, Midsommer Murders, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates, Cor Blimey and Cavegirl, to name but a few. We also have strong links with new writing, up and coming directors and all the major repertory companies.
